We kick off the show with Jeff Powell.  Jeff was the second hunter to shoot a wolf in the Michigan hunt.  You can keep track of the harvest at Michigan.gov/wolves.

Then Tim Hart of Q1 Buckpole joins me with an update on this years online contest.  Tim has the story of one very big southern Michigan buck recently entered.

The second hour features “Michigan’s Mr. Walleye”, Mark Martin.  Mark has great advice on fishing the late season and he looks forward to the ice fishing season.  He also previews his upcoming Vacation Ice Fishing Schools (Fishing Vacation School).

Michigan Conservation Officer Scott Brown wraps up the hour with advice on staying legal during the late hunting season.

Veteran outdoor writer and hunting expert Tom Lounsbury joins me in hour number three.  Tom talks about the December pheasant season and the upcoming rabbit season.  You can learn more about Tom, and hear his radio show, at http://thumbnet.net/lounsbury.php.

We wrap it all up with Chef Dixie Dave Minar.  Dave’s in  a deer blind this week, so he doesn’t have a recipe.  Instead, we talk about an upcoming event in Lansing with some state legislators.

Great guests and information on this week’s show.  I hope you like it.
