Fall hunting and fishing topics are discussed this week on the Outdoor Magazine Radio show.

First, Dr. Tammy Newcomb of the Michigan dnr joins me to talk about asian carp.  Dr. Newcomb says the fight against that aquatic invader continues and she outlines the current status, as well as the long term goals.  Dr. Newcomb is confident those fish can be kept out of the Great Lakes if funding and political pressure continue.

Then Tom Campbell of Woods-n-Waternews talks about the Michigan firearm deer season so far and previews their December edition.

Hour two kicks off with muzzleloading expert Dave Hillebrand of Jays Sporting Goods.  Dave has great advice on buying the right gun and accessories, then getting the best accuracy from that rifle.

Chad Stewart of the Michigan dnr is up next.  Chad is the Big Game Specialist for the department and deer are one of his priorities.  Chad talks about the season so far, the impact of CWD and the future of deer hunting in Michigan.

The final hour features Lance Valentine of  Walleye 101.  Lance is a veteran angler who specializes in teaching others to be more productive on the water.  Lance talks about late season trolling for walleye and he unveils his new website TeachinFishin.com.

The show wraps up with Chef Dixie Dave Minar.  This time Dave has another nice venison recipe.

Lots of great guests and information this week.  I hope you like the show.
