Another good show this week on Outdoor Magazine Radio.
First, Captain Jeff Godie joins me to talk about ice fishing on Saginaw Bay. Jeff is a charter captain who bases his operation of the Linwood Beach Marina on the bay’s west side.
Then Tom Campbell of Woods N Waternews talks about the next edition of their magazine and what readers can expect.
Hour two features Mark Miller of the North American Shed Hunters Club. “Shedding” has developed into a very popular wintertime activity for many deer hunters.
Kent Wood of the Michigan United Conservation Clubs wraps up the hour with more conversation on the potential wolf hunt and how anti hunters are fighting that option.
One of my favorite guests (now upgraded to the title of “contributor”), Richard P. Smith starts out the third hour. This time Richard is talking about antler point restrictions in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, and how he believes the DNR is screwing up.
We wrap it all up with wild game chef Dixie Dave Minar. This week Dave and I shoot the breeze and run out of time before Dave can do a recipe.
Another busy show, I hope you like it.
