Great guests and information this week on the Outdoor Magazine Radio Show.

First Matt Pedigo, chairman of the Michigan Wildlife Council joins me.  Matt talks about the new “Here. For Generations” campaign (hereformi.org).  That campaign to educate Michigan’s non hunters and anglers officially kicked off this week.   Matt also puts on his bear hunter hat and we discuss the growth of bear hunting in Michigan.

Hour two kicks off with expert turkey hunter and Michigan dnr biologist Al Stewart.  Al talks about turkey hunting in Michigan and has some great tips to make your hunt more successful.

Drew YoungeDyke of the Michigan United Conservation Clubs (mucc.org) is up next.  Drew outlines some of the resolutions proposed by their club members.

Springtime fishing is the topic of hour number three as professional angler and fishing educator Lance Valentine of Walleye 101 joins the show.  Lance has great advice on jigging the Detroit River for walleye and early season trolling on Saginaw Bay.

We wrap it all up with chef Dixie Dave Minar.  This week Dave has a very nice turkey recipe.

I hope you like the show.
