There’s a wide range of topics this week on this week’s show.

First, Karen Cleveland of the Michigan dnr joins me to talk about eagles in our state.  The number of eagles has increased tremendously over the past few years and Karen tells us why.

Then, Tom Campbell of  Woods-n-Waternews helps us get ready for turkey season.

Hour two kicks off with outdoor writer and fishing guide Dave Rose (WildFishing.com).  Dave has great advice on surf fishing the great lakes.

Holly Vaughn Joswick of the DNR is up next.  Holly talks about their Wetland Wonders program (Michigan.gov/wetlandwonders).

Charter Captain Ed Retherford of Trout Scout Charters is featured in the final hour of this week’s show.  Ed talks about the early days of the Great Lakes salmon fishery and how the fishing has changed over the years.

As usual, we wrap it all up with Chef Dixie Dave Minar.  This time Dave has a very nice perch recipe.

I hope you like the show.
