It’s a fast paced show this week to close out the month.
First, Matt Pedigo reminds us about the program to transfer Michigan bear tags to youth hunters. Then, he puts on his Michigan Wildlife Council Hat with an update on the Here for Generations campaign.
Then, Jerry Wydner of Hunter Safety System tells us how his Elimishield scent elimination products are actually more effective than hand sanitizer in killing germs and viruses.
Jeff Poet from Jay’s Sporting Goods wraps up the hour talking about the decision to temporarily close their stores due to the coronavirus.
We’re talking turkey in the second hour this week with Greg Abbas of A-Way Hunting Products. Greg is a former turkey hunting guide and a master caller. He has great advice to help you back that longboard.
Ed Golder of the Michigan DNR is up next. Ed answers questions about hunting and fishing during the state’s “Stay Home Stay Safe” mandate.
Then, Karl Ieuter of the Ieuter Insurance Group talks about outdoor related business impacted by the virus and says this is a great time to inventory your hunting and fishing gear.
Southern Lake Michigan salmon fishing is the topic in Hour three as Brad Dupuie of Angler Qwest Boats joins me. Brad says the action can be fast and furious this time of year.
We wrap it all up with wild game chef Dave Minar. This week the Chef has another nice fish recipe.
I hope you like the show.
