This week’s show kicks off with Carol Rose of the Michigan Wildlife Council. Carol talks about the “Here. For Generations” campaign to educate Michigan’s non hunters and anglers.
Then Tom Campbell of Woods-n-Waternews joins me. Tom talks about the early days of that magazine and why they’ve been so successful for more than thirty years.
Morel mushrooms are the opening topic of discussion in hour number two. Clayton Edney, a guy I call “Michigan’s Morel Master”, discusses the early start to this year’s mushroom season and has great advice on finding the tasty fungus. You can track the season on Clayton’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/michiganmorels).
Pure Michigan Hunt winner Mike Scherzer is up next. Mike talks about the gear he won and plans for his upcoming hunts.
Derrick Poet is the featured guest in hour number three. Derrick is a hard core turkey hunter who loves to chase longbeards with a bow. Derrick talks about blinds, broadheads, decoy set up and more. He also discusses his Six 11 Custom Bowstring business (facebook.com/six11archery).
We wrap it all up with Chef Dixie Dave Minar. This time Dave has a very nice rabbit recipe (in honor of the easter bunny).
I hope you like the show.
