It’s a busy show this Easter Weekend on Outdoor Magazine.

First, Michigan dnr fisheries biologist Todd Grischke joins me to talk about the Lake Huron fishery.  We also discuss the biological impact of harvesting spawning walleye on the Detroit River.

Then John Eberhart talks about the University of Whitetail project he’s working on with TV hunting show host Tim Roller.  John says the concept is so unique many hunters don’t yet fully understand it.

Hour two features the “Chairman of the Boards” Bruce DeShano of Offshore Tackle.  Bruce talks about the history of that company and discusses some of their more popular products.

Next, Drew YoungeDyke of mucc and Citizens for Professional Wildlife Management (CitizensWildlife) updates us on the status of the petition to fight the anti hunters in Michigan.  He also explains why his group is now using paid signature gatherers.

The hour wraps up with Nels Larsen of the Walleyes for Warriors  event coming up in June on Saginaw Bay.

Outdoor writer and fishing guide Dave Rose (WildFishing.com) kicks off the final hour of this week’s show talking about springtime fishing and how it could be affected by the high water.

We wrap it all up with Chef Dixie Dave Minar.  This week Dave and I talk about turkey hunting and a fundraising wild game dinner coming up.

Another fast paced show filled with great guests and information.  I hope you like it.
