It’s a fast paced show this week on Outdoor Magazine.

First, Capt. Doug Deming of the Fish Point Lodge wraps up the ice fishing season on Saginaw Bay and looks forward to springtime angling action there.

Then,Ben Nielsen of Showspan has a preview of the big Ultimate Fishing Show in Grand Rapids coming up in a couple weeks.

Tom Campbell of Woods-n-Waternews wraps up the hour with a look behind the scenes of that popular Michigan outdoor monthly publication.

Good friend Greg Abbas of A-Way Outdoors joins me next. Greg is an expert turkey hunter and he has some great advice on getting ready for turkey season.

The man behind one of the web’s best archery sites is up next. Dave Thomas of Bowhunter Planet talks about his new website and why it’s better than ever.

The hour wraps up with Tony Hansen of MUCC. Tony has some great insight into the proposed license fee increases for Michigan outdoor enthusiasts.

My unofficial “Michigan Outdoor Legends” series continues in our number three as I talk with whitetail researcher John Ozoga. For thirty years John studied deer at the Cusino Research Station in the UP near Shingleton. His work still stands today as some of the most valuable insight into whitetail behavior ever collected.

Speaking of legends…cooking legend Dixie Dave Minar wraps the show up with a very nice walleye recipe.

A fast paced show filled with lots of great information. I hope you like it.
